Natalie, Nicole, Shaznay and Melanie might have spent a long time out of the spotlight, but if they're going to make a comeback, they are doing it in style and with all the diva demands that go with the celebrity status.
The first single from their yet untitled album was chosen and the girls were preparing to fly to the location to start shooting the video. Initially, a very exotic destination was picked (Cuba) but the girls' high standards made it impossible for them to be taken there.
Everything was ready when the four members found out that there weren't enough seats on the flight to allow them to arrive together at the same time. The choice was obvious, either they were to fly separately or in the economy class. But the singers found a better way to deal with the problem, namely to fly somewhere else.
'Weeks of planning went into doing the shoot in Cuba. Producers had booked flights for all the staff, hired equipment and arranged locations. But the girls weren't able to sit in first class on the same flight. They either had to go [on separate flights] or sit in economy - which was seen as completely unacceptable', an insider told a British newspaper.
So, they got all the crew mobilized all over again and headed to the capital of Romania, Bucharest, where shooting for the 'Rock Steady' video is almost completed. And, from what various sources say, it is a combination of 'Sin City', 'The Thomas Crown Affair' and 'Ocean's Eleven'. The album will be available in November this year, but no details regarding the video have been released yet. Keep you posted.
