Google is not one to miss out on any occasion for a tweet and the London Olympics are one of the most obvious. Google has always had a series of doodles during the Olympics and that's what it's doing this year, highlighting the most important event of the day.
It started out with the Opening Ceremony doodle, with athletes from several disciplines, and continued with Archery on Saturday, Diving on Sunday and Fencing on Monday. With quite a few days left, as the two-week event has just gotten started, you're going to see a lot more doodles.
While this means that there'll be something new each day, it also means that other potential doodles will be pushed out, at least the global ones.
