Music service Spotify is now offering a few more benefits to iOS customers, including the all-new ability to follow your friends and favorite artists to see their latest updates.

Spotify 0.9.1 is available for all iDevices that can handle iOS 6, which means anything from iPhone 3GS and newer. iPads are natively supported too, and there’s a new “Browse” option in there now replacing “What’s New.”

Perhaps the flagship feature of the update is the ability to “follow friends and artists to see their playlists and releases,” something that iPad users can try right now, while iPhone users will have to wait a while before they get this feature. Download Spotify 0.9.1 for iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, and experience all these new features, plus the ones listed below.

- The secret/public toggle for playlists is now on iPhone as well as iPad. - Improved: Smarter, more responsive searching (soon available to all iPhone users). - Improved: A simpler, more streamlined sign up and login for iPhone and iPad. - Improved: A shiny new look for playlists (soon available to all iPhone users). - Fixed: A pesky bug when sharing to Twitter/email/SMS from iPhone. - Fictitious: This app will increase your good karma.
