A few weeks ago Apple updated GarageBand to include Audiobus support, and now all music app makers are following suit, adding the same enhancement to their respective offerings.

The latest app to get Audiobus support is djay, which transforms your iPad into a full–fledged DJ system that seamlessly integrates with your library.

Version 1.6.4 unsurprisingly opens up live streaming directly to other Audiobus-compatible apps. However, it seems algoriddim was already planning this update for a while. The changelog is a mile long.

Djay 1.6.4 also adds support for Pioneer DDJ-WeGO and DDJ-ERGO controllers, “Shuffle” for Automix Queue, the ability to pause audio when disconnecting headphones or dock audio, improved handling of iOS audio system errors, improved caching, the works!
