You have probably heard that the FAA is going to allow tablets and eReaders to be used during flights, from now on. To honor this bold decision, Amazon has decided to cut 15% off some of its Kindle devices you might be purchasing today.

That means that the basic Kindle can be grabbed for $60 / €44, while the Kindle Fire HD price will slide down to $118 / €87. Good news for those eyeing to purchase the new Kindle Fire HDX, if they hurry up, they can grab it for the affordable price of $195 / €144. Kindle Paperwhite is sadly not included in the promo.

Amazon is trying to be generous as well as funny here. At the checkout counter, you will have to enter the ThnksFAA code before you can make the transaction. The Amazon deal hits right before the holiday shopping spree is about to start, so what are you waiting for?
