The official site of the All India Trinamool Congress (aitmc.org) has been hacked by Anonymous hackers as part of Operation India.
The hackers posted a message on behalf of chairperson Ms. Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal.
“This message from me is going to be a strange one and may shock many of you. But I have to be truthful to myself, my people, the position I hold and the party constitution. I always had been a revolutionary at heart, and today talking to these young generation of revolutionaries I re-discovered the old me that never gave a [expletive],” the post read.
“AM A MAOIST at heart and always have been, It always pained me to speak and act against the ideology that I myself loved so much. I also apologize to the people whom I have hurt,” it continued.
At press time, the article published by the hacktivists was still online.
