Six jurors will be on the stand at George Zimmerman's trial

The George Zimmerman trial will get an evaluation by a jury of six women, the AP has reported.

Two male and two female jurors have also been picked as alternates, out of 40 people who have made it into the second stage of jury selection.

There is no telling whether having only women on the jury stand will help the neighborhood watch volunteer, but my guess is that they will not take his shooting a teenage boy lightly.

Out of the six jurors, only two of them own guns and keep them in their homes and five of them are Caucasian, while the sixth is Hispanic.

As I wrote previously, Zimmerman shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, claiming that the teen tried to rob him.

Under Florida law, he is allowed to defend himself, but the prosecution argues that Martin has not been a threat, bringing the issue on racial profiling forward.
