Those who are still considering purchasing RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, but were undecided for the last two-three deals offered by the company will be happy to know that they have a new chance to acquire the slate.

According to the folks over at Slashgear, RIM has just kicked-off a new BlackBerry PlayBook sale, which is expected to run through February 4.

Beginning today, all BlackBerry PlayBook models will be available for only $299 (230 EUR), regardless of the amount of storage. Basically, this means that Research In Motion slashed $200 (150 EUR), $300 (230 EUR) and $400 (310 EUR) off the original prices of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models.

Although the previous deal on the BlackBerry PlayBook offered the 16GB version of the tablet for only $199 (150 EUR), the current promo is meant to reduce the company’s high stocks of 32GB and 64GB BlackBerry Playbook units.

However, it appears that customers who order any of the three BlackBerry PlayBook models will receive it within 7-14 business days, which is a pretty long time.

European BlackBerry fans can also take advantage of some sort of a deal on the BlackBerry PlayBook, but only those living in the UK. Several leading retailers across the country are offering the 16GB model for £170 (265 USD or 205 EUR).

The other two variants, the 32GB and 64GB are a bit more expensive and can be purchased for £199 (310 USD or 240) EUR and £330 (510 USD or 395 EUR), respectively.

Research In Motion announced last month a huge stock of BlackBerry PlayBook units worth of $485m, which the company plans to get rid of by offering various deals and promotional offers in the next weeks.

Based on customer feedback, it looks like BlackBerry PlayBook stocks are depleting fast when heavily discounted. However, it will be interesting to see how long it takes for RIM to sell all its surplus of PlayBook units.
