Even as 2010 is quickly drawing to a close, various IT players are still trying to get this or that announcement out in the open, and Fractal Design decided to leave the year behind in style, by unveiling a new, stylish PC chassis.

The new PC enclosure that Fractal Design has completed goes by the name of Define Mini and, according to its maker, is “a case focused on low noise level, without neglecting other important features such as cooling, expandability and ease of use.”

What this means is that it combines feature support with aesthetic value and a special design in regards to cooling.

For one, it can house motherboards of the mini-ITX, micro-ATX and ATX form factors easily while also boasting more than enough room for storage drives and fans.

To be more specific, there are two exposed 5.25-inch bays, along with six 3.5-inch HDD trays.

For those that like their systems as quiet as possible, Fractal Design implemented silicone mounting on the HDD holsters, for lower vibration, as well as pre-fitted noise absorbing material on the side panels.

Furthermore, the top I/O panel includes a pair of USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 connector and the obligatory audio ports.

Other specifications include the ModuVent designs (which lets owners whether or not they want their side and top panel fan slots open), watercooling holes at the rear (two in number) and a fan controller that can handle up to three different fans.

Finally, the company threw in 120mm spinners by default, one on the back and on up front.

All of the above are packed inside a frame that measures 210 (W) x 395 (H) x 490 (D) mm and weighs a total of 9.5 kg.

There was no sort of information on the price tag, and until online stores start listing the Define Mini, those that want more information need only go here.
