Soccer fans are in for a treat this year, YouTube will be live-streaming all of the matches from the 2011 Copa America, the South American soccer tournament. Everyone around the world (almost) will be able to watch the 26 matches, as they happen, complete with commentary exclusive to YouTube.

The South American continent has always been a source of great players and great teams, especially on the national level, so the cup should not disappoint fans.

"Streamed to more than 50 countries around the world, the 2011 Copa America - the South American national soccer tournament that comes around every 4 years - will be broadcast live from Argentina on YouTube, July 1 - 24," Andrew Bangs, from YouTube Sports, announced.

"Arguably the most important global sporting event of the year, the 2011 Copa will feature the 10 South American national teams and two guest teams, Mexico and Costa Rica, battling for continental soccer supremacy," he added.

The dedicated youtube.com/copaamerica channel is now live and features matches from the previous two editions of Copa America, from 2004 and 2007.

It looks like all of the matches are now available, so you have a chance to relieve some of your favorite matches or follow your national team's path in the previous years. There are also highlights of previous matches to wet the appetite.

Once the matches start, they will all be streamed live so you can check out the action as it happens. After a match ends, there will be highlight clips, goal compilations and the entire match will be made available for viewing.

The tournament should be particularly interesting for Latin America, especially since both Mexico and Costa Rica are participating, but soccer fans from all over the world will find something to like, especially since many of their favorite players will be playing for their national teams.
