Alistair might still appear in the upcoming medieval RPG depending on player choices

Alistair, one of the key party members in Dragon Age: Origins, won't return in Dragon Age: Inquisition as a member of your team, although BioWare is hinting that he will play a role in the next iteration in the medieval RPG series.

In Dragon Age: Origins, players controlled the Grey Warden who led a team of adventurers across the realm of Ferelden, including Alistair, who, thanks to some decisions, could end up being killed or becoming King.

In Dragon Age 2, players controlled Hawke, the Champion of Kirkwall, who met briefly with Alistair, if he was alive.

In Inquisition, as the name suggests, players control the Inquisitor, and BioWare's Mark Darrah has confirmed on Twitter that Alistair will not be an available party member.

The character will still appear but fans will "have to wait and see on the rest."

Dragon Age: Inquisition launches this fall for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
