Aliph Jawbone 2 Bluetooth Headset – The New "Noise Assassin"

- Available now for $129.99

By: Florin Troaca, Communications News Editor

After the huge success of the first Jawbone Bluetooth headset, the Americans from Aliph are now releasing the second generation Jawbone, which comes to bring more features and a plus of style for users in need of an advanced Bluetooth headset.

The new Jawbone is way smaller than the first one (about 50%) and it keeps the same fashionable and simple look, coming with two "streamlined" keys that can easily control all of its functions. The NoiseAssassin technology packed in the Jawbone 2 will offer the best possible wireless audio experience, regardless of the environment: crowded cities, airports, cars and so on. The VAS feature (Voice Activity Sensor) can accurately distinguish the user's voice from any other ambient noises, delivering only the clear and natural sound of your voice.

Weighing only 10 grams, Aliph's new product is capable of providing more than 4 hours of continuous talk-time and more than 8 days of stand-by time – after less than 1 hour of charging.

"In creating the new Jawbone we focused on improving our audio performance beyond the marketing leading noise solution that we already had, and elevating the design to a point where it would appeal to a broad range of consumers who would love to wear it. Jawbone provides amazing audio quality in a form factor that is a true lifestyle accessory – it's a new and complete departure from the typical gadgetry of the Bluetooth category", said Hosain Rahman, CEO and co-founder of Aliph, in a press release issued yesterday.

The tiny and fancy new Bluetooth "earwear" (as Aliph named it) has a retail price of $129.99 and users interested in buying one can find it as of now, via AT&T's retail stores across the US, as well as online, on the carrier's website and on the product's official page. For now the Jawbone 2 is available only in black, but two new color versions (silver and rose gold) will also be released.
