14 DAY TRIAL // After declining to comment on the state of the Nintendo Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines, Sega has now publicly stated that this upcoming edition of the game is no longer in development.
Aliens: Colonial Marines appeared back in February for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms. Sadly, the game didn't meet the expectations of fans and was filled with all sorts of problems that quickly caused a serious negative backlash.
Even so, some fans were looking forward to the Wii U version which was apparently going to include lots of new features.
Now, Sega has confirmed that the Wii U editions of Aliens: Colonial Marines is no longer in development.
No official reasoning was given, according to CVG, but it’s quite likely that Wii U owners canceled their pre-orders and weren't going to get the new title.
