Aliens: Colonial Marines, the controversial game made by Gearbox Software, is set to receive a new story-based expansion called Stasis Interrupted, according to the PS3 trophies for the game.

Aliens: Colonial Marines was supposed to deliver a great shooter experience but it ended up disappointing many players due to its low quality, lackluster stories, and disrespect for the Aliens franchise.

While developer Gearbox improved certain aspects through many updates and released DLCs that included new content for the multiplayer mode, quite a few owners are still unhappy, particularly with the story.

Those fans will be treated with a new story-based DLC soon, called Stasis Interrupted, at least according to PS3Trophies, which posted a list of new challenges in the game and their descriptions.

Thank You, That Will Be All - Complete Stasis Interrupted at any difficulty I'm Happy to Disappoint You - Complete Stasis Interrupted in Ultimate Badass We're Still Collating - Find all Stasis Interrupted Audio Logs I Only Need to Know One Thing - Find your family They Can Bill Me - Destroy the Legato I Don't Got All Day - Sever the umbilical without missing a shot They're Dead! OK? Can We Go Now? - Kill all the Lurkers in Sulaco engineering Now What Are We Supposed to Do? - Escape the FTL ship We Are Leaving! - Survive the Queen escape It's the Only Way to Be Sure - Destroy all samples in the labs of the Queen module

It's unclear when the DLC will appear but, considering the Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass mentioned four add-ons, and so far only three different expansions have been released, it's possible that Stasis Interrupted will be the final item covered by the bundle.

As of yet, Gearbox hasn't commented on this report, so expect something official soon enough.
