Aliens: Colonial Marines Now Available for Pre-Purchase on Steam

Gearbox Software's Aliens: Colonial Marines is now available for pre-purchase on Steam. Although the game has been up for pre-order on various digital stores for quite some time, Valve added the upcoming title today.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is available for pre-purchase for the usual $50/€50 price and will unlock on February 12. Check it out here.

Keep in mind that customers who pre-order the game will also receive S.H.A.R.P. Stick, the prototype sonic-harpoon artillery remote projectile rifle, which fires time-delayed, explosive-tipped darts that embed themselves into enemies or terrain.

Developed by Gearbox, creators of the multi-awarded Borderlands game, Aliens: Colonial Marines is inspired by the film series in the Aliens universe.

The game offers a pretty interesting co-op campaign so players will be able to play with their friends and wipe out the Xeno infestation.
