Gearbox Software has just confirmed that its upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines title has gone gold and is on track to appear in February for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.
Aliens fans have been eagerly awaiting Colonial Marines for quite some time as Gearbox together with publisher Sega have tried to stay faithful to the series and deliver a proper sequel to the events in the movies.
Now, after multiple delays, Gearbox has
confirmed that
Aliens: Colonial Marines has gone gold and will hit its intended February 12, 2013 release date.
The game is complete and now it will enter manufacturing for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms and will soon be uploaded to digital distribution services like Steam.
The game will be launched worldwide on February 12, so now's the time to pre-order it and make sure you get a copy.
