Aliens: Colonial Marines Gets Official PC Specs

Developer Gearbox Software and publisher SEGA are giving gamers the minimum and recommended specifications list for the upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines on the PC, allowing them to evaluate their own systems ahead of the coming February launch.

The minimum system specifications are, according to AVPGalaxy:

At least Windows XP with SP3 operating system
2 GHz Intel Dual core processor
2GB RAM for Windows XP and Vista
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 or ATI Radeon HD 2600 with minimum 256 MB of RAM graphics cards
20GB free hard disk space
DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

The recommended specifications are:

Windows XP with SP3 or Windows Vista or Windows 7
2.3 GHz Intel Quad core processor
2 GB of RAM
20GB free hard disk space
NVIDIA GeForce GTX560 or ATI Radeon HD 5850 with minimum 512 MB of RAM
DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

Gamers will also have to connect to the Internet at least once on the PC in order to activate Aliens: Colonial Marines.

The game can also be played on the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii U.

20Gb hard disk space ?! Either this is an awesome game or it has not been coded very tightly - time will tell
