The development team at Gearbox Software and publisher SEGA are delivering the first big patch for the recently launched Aliens: Colonial Marines, which fixes quite a number of problems with the general gameplay, the story-based campaign and the competitive multiplayer.

There are a number of general user interface and performance improvements and quite a few general changes linked to doors and object collisions.

Most of the campaign changes are linked to the interaction between welded doors and the player, while also eliminating situations where the player could become stuck in Aliens: Colonial Marines.

The Escape game mode has received the most fixes via the new patch.

A full list of the changes is offered on the official Gearbox site.

The patch notes are the same for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as on the PC.

We have here a full Softpedia review for Aliens: Colonial Marines.
