Alien fans are among the most loyal in the gaming industry, otherwise we can't explain why they would be so excited at the sight of another game in the series after the total fail called Aliens: Colonial Marines.

We imagine that Alien fans want to forget as quickly as possible that that game has ever existed and focus their attention on future titles like the upcoming game from Creative Assembly, which is called Alien: Isolation.

Obviously, as a faithful Alien fan, you have probably already heard about the game and what the developers are trying to do with it, but if you need more details and a few screenshots to make your impression even more valid, you'll be pleased to know we have them.

Alistair Hope, creative lead on Alien: Isolation at Creative Assembly, was kind enough to offer fans a glimpse of what to expect from their upcoming title. Some screenshots have been released as well, to help with the hype.

So, this is the first time that Alien: Isolation is seen and tried by so many people. The folks at Creative Assembly have arranged a hands-on demo featuring a further mode from the game.

The demo is time based and provides players with enough elements to get an idea of what Alien: Isolation is all about. If you're attending E3 this year, you can play the demo at their booth.

Now, back to some more interesting stuff. Some of the features that players will be able to take advantage of in the game have just been revealed by developers.

For example, the human survivors are an important element, as they can either help or react aggressively towards the player. Given the fact that they are in the same position as the player, they are unpredictable.

Next in line, the Seegson Synthetics are simply biomechanical creations, they seem to have both beneficial and negative presence at times, but there's no way to tell. They are “built to last, any form of antagonism should be avoided.”

We left the most important thing for last, and that's the Crafting System. Creative Assembly has just confirmed that Alien: Isolation will feature a crafting system that will allow players to combine items and components found in the world into basic or enhanced tools and devices that will help them survive.

One such device is called the Noisemaker, and as the name suggests, it's “an unusual, hastily created, electrical device with two speakers on either end. When thrown into the world it creates a lot of noise, attracting the attention of anything nearby and allowing the player to slip past unnoticed.”

Alien: Isolation is expected to arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on October 7. How do you like the new features unveiled by the developers?
