The development team at The Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA are ready to deliver more information on the Survivor Mode that will be part of Alien: Isolation and about the Season Pass which will be linked to it.

On the official PS Blog, the two companies explain that gamers will have to fight both the aliens and a time limit in order to move away from certain locations from the game, with very limited resources to craft weapons and items.

The developers state, “For many, the challenge proved too frightening. Some met the challenge to survive and complete the level. All experienced the thrill of facing the universe’s deadliest killer — one-to-one.”

Alien: Isolation will also have a Season Pass, which is linked to the Survivor Mode.

Gamers who pick it up will get a stream of five packs that include new maps, challenges, new enemy types to deal with, and a new playable character each.

The Pass is designed to deliver all the content to gamers with a 25 percent price cut.

Alien: Isolation will be offered on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on October 7 and is designed to offer a classic take on the survival horror genre, with the same atmosphere as the movies on which it is based.
