Video game developer The Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA are continuing to deliver teaser trailers for their upcoming Alien: Isolation, with one asking the player how he will deal with the wide number of ventilation shafts that are part of the abandoned space station from which he tries to escape.

The teams state, "The quiet hidden space of vents may hold the promise of security but understanding the dangers of the route you’re taking is key…"

The gameplay reveal series is interesting because it shows how smart the alien creature in the game can be, able to carefully track the player and install a false sense of security before it attacks decisively.

Alien: Isolation is set to be launched on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and last-gen consoles on October 7 and is designed to offer classic horror survival gameplay.

The Creative Assembly says that it plans to match the classic atmosphere of the movies on which the experience is based, with the players always feeling underpowered and alone as they seek to find new ways of staying ahead of the xenomorph, while also dealing with a number of human looters.

The game will also include special DLC based on the classic Alien movies.
