Alien Isolation's list of achievements has leaked ahead of the first-person horror adventure video game's release, set for October 7.

The list has popped up on Xbox Achievements, and, of course, includes some spoilers, so if you don't want to risk knowing anything ahead of time, you might not want to check it out.

The achievements don't reveal much about the upcoming horror title's storyline, but they do give us a general idea of the different ways in which the game's challenges can be approached, as well as sneak a few notions of what's going to happen gameplay-wise.

There is an achievement for completing the game without killing any human characters, as well as an achievement for killing ten of them, that suggests that it will be a pretty difficult task.

The achievements also reveal that Alien Isolation will feature a stun baton, pistol, a shotgun, a revolver, a flamethrower and a bolt gun, but no other information on the game's weapons is provided.

The upcoming game is created with an emphasis on mood and fear, shying away from the horror video game tradition of killing countless abhorrent apparitions and going back to the roots of the old Ridley Scott movie that started it all, with gameplay based on stealth and tension.

Alien Isolation is currently scheduled to arrive on October 7, headed to the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
