
Hollywood actress Alicia Silverstone will play the lead in ABC's comedy pilot "Pink Collar," which explores female relationships within the workplace.
Silverstone is currently working on "Stormbreaker", a film adaptation of Anthony Horowitz's "Alex Rider" novel, with Ewan McGregor and Mickey Rourke.
She will next be seen in psychological horror "Moscow Zero", which also stars Vincent Gallo and Val Kilmer. Silverstone was last on the small screen with the short-lived "Miss Match," which aired on NBC in 2003. She recently appeared in the comedy feature "Beauty Shop" and wrapped a limited run of David Mamet's "Boston Marriage" at the Geffen Playhouse in Westwood.
Alicia Silverstone was born on October 4, 1976, in San Francisco, California. Her career began at the tender age of six when her dad, Monty, took some photos of his young daughter. The photos allowed her to get some modeling gigs which then led to television commercials. She then appeared in Aerosmith's "Amazing" video, she had a guest spot in "The Wonder Years", played in "The Crush" and so her career started to become more and more successful. Till now, she starred in 26 movies and produced 2 films: "Braceface" and "Excess Baggage".
