Alicia Silverstone Wants Vegan Mamas to Donate Their Breast Milk

Actress Alicia Silverstone has recently launched a vegan breast milk share program, which she calls “Kind Mama Milk Share.”

The idea behind this program is pretty straightforward: some vegan mothers produce plenty of breast milk, while others don't produce any, or produce very little.

So why not help them get in touch with each other, just in case mothers that have a surplus of vegan breast milk might be willing to donate some of it?

“Because we are a community of beautiful souls who recognize the importance of food as health, I say we help support those mamas and babies who need a hand during one of the most important times in their lives,” Alicia Silverstone writes on her website, The Kind Life.

“If you have milk to share - post it! If you are in need of milk - post it! Think of all the babies we can help raise together!” the actress adds.
