Lindsay's 17-year-old sister is starting forging her modeling career

While her more famous sister is still heavily entangled in legal problems, Ali Lohan is finally getting to kick off her modeling career. She's just landed the cover of Fault magazine for the winter 2011 campaign which should debut this November.

Two photos from the photospread, including the one on the cover, have also been included with this article.

Most photos show an Ali the public is not used to seeing: rocking a slick dark bob and couture designs, Aliana is also slimmer than ever before, as the Daily Mail also points.

But she's also looking great.

Those keeping up to speed with Lohan gossip must know that, at the one point, there were countless reports saying that Ali was starving herself and, just as worse, going under the knife in order to land modeling gigs.

She was so desperate for a career as a model, word in the blogosphere had it, that she got her entire face reconstructed to get the bone structure of one – plus fillers and Botox.

These claims were denied both by Lindsay on her Twitter and by NEXT Model Management, the modeling agency with which Ali signed in August this year, as the first official step towards becoming a model.

“I love how haters pick on my sister yet every runway model is just as thin! My sister is gorgeous and I’m so proud of her and her career!!!!” Lindsay said in her sister's defense, as cited by the Mail.

NEXT too denied that Ali was starving herself, and added that she wasn't getting plastic surgery either.

“Contrary to recent reports, I can confirm that Aliana Lohan has not had any surgery. As a young girl who is growing up, it’s natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent,” a spokesperson for the agency said in a statement cited by the aforementioned media outlet.

“Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age. We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape,” the statement added.

Celebrity pundits and plastic surgeons didn't buy it.
