Ali Lohan Is Officially a Model Now

Ali Lohan, the 17-year-old sister of troubled actress, occasional singer and tabloid darling Lindsay Lohan, is officially a model now. She is now signed with NEXT Model Management and hailed as the future face of fashion.

In a statement sent out to Just Jared, NEXT confirms getting Aliana, or Ali for short, on the team, stressing that the credit goes entirely to her – and not to the fact that her last name happens to be Lohan.

“We are very excited to be representing Aliana Lohan,” NEXT Los Angeles Director Alexis Borges says for the aforementioned e-zine in a statement.

“She represents the future face of fashion and will be a photographer’s dream with her chameleon-like beauty,” Borges adds.

No word yet on what Ali’s future projects might be but, as Just Jared points out, along the years, NEXT has represented some of the biggest and most beautiful models out there.

Suffice it to say, Ali is finally getting her big break.

“We can’t wait to see what kind of modeling gigs Aliana books! NEXT has represented the likes of Miranda Kerr, Milla Jovovich, Emma Heming, and Jaime King,” Just Jared writes.

Of course, Ali is no stranger to modeling even if, until now, she wasn’t signed to an agency. Back in September 2010, she modeled for her sister’s fashion line in a series of shots that got many people talking – and not for the right reasons, one might add.

At the time she posed for the 6126 by Lindsay Lohan spring 2011 collection, Ali was 16 but some of the poses she struck were deemed far too “sultry” for her age.

This, in turn, as we also informed you back then, led to some talk that Lindsay was “ruining” Ali who, in almost no time, would probably end up like her older, more troubled sister: with a promising career down the drain because of irresponsible behavior and too much partying.

It would seem that skeptics have just been proven wrong.
