14 DAY TRIAL // Rumor has it that Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas are expecting their first child together. Several glossies have “confirmed” it, while photos would also seem to indicate that there’s truth to it. If it is, neither the actor nor his wife is saying anything about it.
Just yet, at least.
Word of this broke in InTouch, which claims to have it on good authority that Hilaria and Alec are getting ready to start a family real soon, the New York Daily News reports.
“Hilaria has told only really close friends and family she is pregnant, only a close circle she trusts,” an insider is quoted as saying.
A photo over at the Daily Mail, of Hilaria on the set of Extra, where she appeared as a correspondent, also seems to confirm that she’s sporting a baby bump – or, at the very least, showing the signs of a considerable meal.
If the two are really expecting, Baldwin’s publicist refuses to confirm it.
“Our response to baby speculation over the past 18 months has remained the same. When/if Alec & Hilaria have news they want to share, they will share it. Until then, we have no comment,” Matthew Hiltzick writes on Twitter, as cited by the same media outlet.
Assuming the reports are accurate, this will be Hilaria’s first child and Baldwin’s second, as he already has a teenage daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
Speaking with Piers Morgan some time back, shortly after he and Hilaria wed, Baldwin admitted that he remained open to the idea of having more babies.
“Have I thought about having more kids? Oh sure, that would be great, that would be heaven, that would be fantastic,” he said.
Keep an eye on this space for updates. Knowing Baldwin, he won’t let speculation make the rounds for that much longer before saying anything about it, whether to confirm the rumors or deny them.
