Alex Baldwin is famous for his bad temper and it seems to have gotten him in more trouble, depending on who's side of the story you believe. The actor was removed at LAX from an American Airlines flight after refusing to shut down his iPad at the flight attendant's request.

The actor boarded an AA plane at LAX but didn't even have time to get too comfortable before he was asked to de-plane because he was acting in an inappropriate manner.

An avid Twitter user, Baldwin took to his official page on the social networking website to say he'd been mistreated: he was playing Words with Friends on his iPad and he was asked to quit the game.

However, he ranted on his Twitter, the plane was still at the gate, which means he was still allowed to use whatever electronic device he had on his person, in whatever means he deemed fit.

Fellow passengers, though, are singing a different tune, the New York Post writes.

Baldwin was actually on his phone (and only pretended to play a game) at the time the flight attendant told him it was time to turn it off.

More importantly, the captain had announced that the plane was about to proceed to takeoff. After refusing repeatedly to comply with the requests, Baldwin also had a very violent outburst, which is what eventually got him kicked off.

“Apparently he said he was playing a game, but he was actually talking on the phone. She [the flight attendant] was very nice. The door was closed they just announced that they were pulling away from the gate. He got up threw his papers on the floor stormed into the bathroom slammed the door closed, beat on the wall and then came back,” passenger Steve Weiss says for the e-zine.

“He said 'If you want to kick me off, kick me off.' He was just crazy, he just flipped out, the guy has problems,” he adds.

Baldwin also blew a fuse, got up, locked himself in the bathroom and kicked the wall until his anger subsided, other passengers say.

“He was violent, abusive and aggressive. He got into the bathroom and started beating on the wall and he pounded his fists on the galley counter. Yelling, screaming, very ugly. It was unsafe to keep him on board that's why he got kicked out,” a crew member tells the e-zine, refusing to be named.

Eventually, Baldwin got on another, later flight. He swears he's never flying American Airlines again.
