In an interview with the American version of 'Elle' Magazine, the sex bomb reveals that life hasn't always been that rosy for her, as some of us might be tempted to think. The 'Sin City' star revealed that one of her biggest struggles was finding her solace in religion, a thing that she has given up for a long time now.
The '100 per cent kissable' woman celebrity told the reporter that, because of her Latino physiognomy, it was very hard for her to be integrated into the Christian parish, but neither the Latin one wanted her. After a time, she became a regular at the church, but problems were just beginning for her.
Jessica recalls that 'older man would hit on me and my youth pastor said it was because I was wearing provocative clothing, when I wasn't. It just made me feel like if I was in any way desirable to the opposite sex, that it was my fault, and it made me ashamed of my body and of being a woman'.
Another thing that Jessica could not agree with was the Christian religion condemning homosexuality and premarital sex and the fact that there are so few female representatives in the Bible. In conclusion, the actress left the church and she certainly doesn't regret her choice. 'I thought it was a nice guide, but it certainly wasn't how I was going to live my life', she concluded by saying.
