“Don't give up on me, or sea otters,” says one girl

Up until now, we had a rather scientific approach towards how drilling in the Arctic regions will impact on the natural ecosystems found in this part of the world.

However, this video recently made public brings a touch of sensibility to the whole issue, as Alaskan youth speaks about what worries them the most with respect to the future of the wildlife living quite close to their homes.

“Don't give up on me, or sea otters,” says one girl after many other young people talked about how oil spill management is not yet as efficient as it should be, and about how important the animal species living in the Arctic are for them.

Hopefully, this video will help more individuals realize that the negative consequences brought about by drilling in these frozen waters revolve not just around wildlife, but also around people.
