Two families have perished in the air taxi crash in Alaska that I also documented yesterday. A small plane went down and caught on fire, killing 10 people in Soldotna.

The Charlotte Observer reported that a family of five died on Sunday while on vacation. Milton and Kimberly Antonakos and their kids, 16-year-old Olivia, 14-year-old Mills, and 12-year-old Anna, are now dead.

They were residents of Greenville in South Carolina, as were four other victims. Pilot Walter Rediske also lost his life.

Chris and Stacey McManus shared the plane with the Antonakos family. Their daughter and son, Connor and Meghan, were on board when the plane crashed.

The tourists were headed for a cabin near Lake Clark, where they planned to watch bears in their natural habitat.
