Lots of people have trouble getting out of bed in the morning in this day and age, probably because mattresses, sheets and pillows have gotten incredibly possessive.

The good news is that an alarm clock that threatens to shred people's money, unless the latter wake up and stop it from doing so, has high chances to solve this problem.

The clock in question, pictured above, incorporates a shredding device that begins to destroy money once the alarm goes off.

According to Mirror, poor, unfortunate bills are to keep being shredded until the alarm clock's owner takes pity on them and jumps to their rescue.

Needless to say, a person's eagerness to save the money will surely depend on the denomination of the notes in distress.

For the time being, this innovative device is only a prototype. Unfortunately, it is unclear when it will hit the market.
