The Canadian singer recalled the anger she experienced as her breasts were developing. Alanis Morissette was usually hanging around with boys until her breasts blossomed. The singer confessed she was left unhappy after her chest developed when she reached puberty.
According to celebritywonder, Alanis Morissette said: "Looking back, it was quite hard, because there's no greater indicator that you can't just hang out with boys for the rest of your life than when you grow breasts. I was angry about it. It all exploded in a torrent of femininity as a teenager, for which I apologize."
Now that the anger is gone and the rock singer had all the time to get used to her breasts, she can focus on her already successful career. After top selling records and one movie part (Dogma, where she played… God!!!) Alanis became interested in theater. She is to take the London stage in a new theatre production.
The Canadian singer will play death row survivor Sunny Jacobs in a production of The Exonerated - about six people sentenced to death for crimes they didn't commit.
The singer who has previously performed onstage in The Vagina Monologues said about her new theatrical project: "I feel very aligned with my character and uplifted by her courage and faith. Her ability to remain in a place of love is a guiding force for me."
