Alan Wake is a video game developed by Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind the Max Payne series, and published by Microsoft exclusively for its Xbox 360 home console, released on May 14, 2010, in Europe, and May 18, in North America, as an all-new experience with survival horror and psychological thriller elements.

Alan Wake is shaped like a TV show, in which the main character, Alan Wake, a writer that arrives in a small American mountain town, uncovers weird paranormal activities that give birth to shadow monsters which can be eliminated only by shining light into their bodies or by deploying fires and other light emanating sources.

Go to the area with the airplane. Jump on its wings to reach the lower level. Drop from the plane, then go to the left of the furthest wing (towards the front of the plane). Once you reach the rock wall, find the slightly hidden hole. Go through and follow the path along the cliff side to reach a cave with a giant typewriter. After Alan is done speaking, go on top of the typewriter. You can read a paper that reveals more of the storyline.
