Alan Wake is getting ready not just for a downloadable adventure on the Xbox 360, in the form of Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, but also for a trip to the PC platform, at least according to some listings from the Steam registry that were spotted by eagle-eyed gamers.

Alan Wake impressed lots of Xbox 360 gamers back in 2010, but PC owners didn’t forget that Remedy Entertainment, its developer, and Microsoft, its publisher, promised to bring the game to their platform, but quickly forgot about it, making the game an exclusive to the console.

Now, according to some registry listings on the Steam client, which were spotted by members of the Alan Wake forums, it seems that the two companies had a change of heart and are now getting ready to deploy it on the PC.

Take these rumors with a grain of salt, however, as there have been no official statements just yet.
