In a video posted online only a few hours ago, Al Gore, who served as US Vice President under Bill Clinton, discusses his personal opinion concerning the recent clash between President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney.

As we have already reported, President Obama is very keen on pushing for the use of renewables, whereas Romney claims that a more traditional energy industry is the way to go if the country is to achieve energy independence.

Apparently, Al Gore is quite biased in discussing these recent conflicts concerning the future of the energy industry in the US, meaning that he firmly believes that the environmental policies that President Obama is trying to see implemented on a national scale need be given due consideration.

This is because they stand by scientific facts and studies which argue that climate change and global warming are real problems that need be dealt with as soon as possible.

On the other hand, he “fears” that Romney plans for the American energy industry will eventually lead to severe negative consequences both for the country, and for the environment.
