The Japanese name for these headphones simply rocks, even though you might already reach your destination before you have learned it (kidding). Well, it looks like the guys at Radius have been quite busy the last months and have come up with some of the neatest headsets around, especially created for Nano iPod-owners; and since in the urban environment in Japan traveling is more than an everyday thing, why
not make the long plane and especially train trips more pleasant and quieter?

The radStrap Noise Cancel headphones are in-ear pieces, coming with special design buds that will fit in your ears and separate your hearing from the ambient noises. At the same time, these headphones sport a special circuitry of their own which can work for up to 10 hours; still, this feature can be turned off for saving some power.

The noise reduction operates between the 80 and 1500Hz and Radius claim it will eliminate as much as 82% from the parasite sounds; it also looks very "iPod" as the radStrap Noise Cancel is attached to the player by means of the special dock and not the traditional minijack, offering more output.

These headphones come with the Radius' proprietary radStrap, a special-design lanyard cord hanging from your neck, the way original iPod headphones do. Even more, Radius will include a player protective case helping you to take care of your Nano better. The aluminium-housing ear pieces come in neat black, teal, silver and teal, matching the iPod coloring for serious style.

Radius' radStrap Noise Cancel sport 40 Ohms impedance and can develop 101dB of sound pressure and are fullrange, delivering sound between 20 and 20,000Hz. These neat in-ear phones will start shipping these days in early December, for an announced price of $81.
