Publisher Strategy First and Russian publisher Akella, have announced the official website for Disciples III: Renaissance, a site dedicated
to its fans. The new site gives fans of the game the opportunity to have an exclusive first look at what's new from the developer, Akella.

Disciples III: Renaissance is an RTS containing fantasy themes where players take the role of Lords of one of the fantastic races of Nevendaar in their enduring struggle to establish the reign of their respective god over the world. Ripe with surprises and turn-arounds, the story of the world of Nevendaar is played against a somber backdrop, while Disciples III: Renaissance uses .dat's in-house Virtual Dream engine, which supports all modern 3D technologies.

The Disciples III website will contain:

-background information about the history of the world and the incessant conflicts that plague it;
-one of a kind concept art;
-in-game images;
-new videos;
-an all new Disciples III dedicated forum.

Akella has developed numerous games for different platforms (PC, Xbox, PlayStation 2 and Wii). They are best known for carrying out work on Sea Dogs, released in 2000 (a pirate-adventuring action RPG) and its following sequels, Pirates of the Caribbean (Originally known as Sea Dogs II) and Postal with its following sequels.

Disciples III: Renaissance's release is still to be dated. The game was announced during the E3 last year among PT-boats: Knights Of The Sea, Swashbucklers: Blue & Grey, Heavy Duty, Hard to Be a God and Showdown: Scorpion, Akella's lineup for the PC and PS2 titles.

I think bad thing about Disciples II is that:

-no undead horda
-and no Mountain Clan
