The Internet has become part of our day-by-day live, and staying connected is almost a necessity. Access to the Internet is vital, since telecommunications, entertainment and business converge on the
web.

AirLive has come with yet another solution to keep you connected. The AirLive WHA-5000CPE Hi-Power Multiple Mode Wireless PTP/PTM Outdoor CPE device operates in the 5GHz radio spectrum and can cover distances over 5 kilometers on fine weather. The CPE device is one of the first All-In-One Outdoor CPE units and comes with a bundled Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) kit.

The wireless access point has been built from ground up with outdoor usage in mind. It can ensure stable connectivity even over long distances. Setting up and configuring the network has never been easier, which would dramatically reduce deployment costs and time. The WHA-5000CPE access point can even serve WISP applications, as it features the Atheros 108Mbps Super A/Turbo A functionality.

AirLive's wireless networking kit gives the users everything they need to build a 5 GHz wireless connection on the spot. The access point's enclosure is rugged and waterproof, and comes with an integrated 18dBi 5GHz antenna with 802.3af compliant Power-Over-Ethernet Kits.

The AirLive WHA-5500CPE operates in 6 different modes: Access Point, Repeater, WDS Bridge, Client Infrastructure, Client Ad Hoc and WISP Router. A designated Access Point can be linked to multiple Repeaters for instance, to amplify and distribute signal over even greater distances, thus extending the network to the size of a neighborhood, for instance.

The WHA-5500CPE is also Multi-SSID compliant, which allows the user to create different networks based on a single Access Point. The VLAN tag gives the provider complete control over the service content of each SSID network, while the Quality of Service option gives control to the priority status of different packages, as set in the WMM protocol.
