There are gadgets that are cool and gadgets that are absolutely cool, to-die-for and pretty much any superlative attribute you might think of. And the Pocket Projector from Aiptek could be part of the second category as it boasts a heap of features, all loaded in a small and lightweight package, easy to carry around and even easier to use, delivering great video and looking fantastic at the same time.

The Aiptek Pocket Cinema is a small-size projector with pretty much the same dimensions as any of your common candybar cellphones; it is simply one of the best things yet in terms of portability and convenience.

Why carry a larger projector with you when you can benefit from the high-tech engineering inside the Aiptek Pocket Cinema? Of course, due to the fact that this nifty tool can only give you a 50-inch image when decent readability is to be taken into account, its use is restricted to small and medium spaces. I was about to say "audience" but I'm sure that no matter how small the space was, those willing to see you with this great toy will be a tad bigger than the room was built for.

This projector is easy to hook up with pretty much any external device but it also comes with a 1GB built-in memory and a card reader for complex integration with the gadgets in the wild. The Aiptek Pocket Cinema sports handy transport controls and comes with a tripod and wireless remote control so you won't need to keep it in your hand as long as the movie or presentation is running. Movies and pictures alike, the Aiptek Pocket Cinema will let you see them pretty much anywhere an image can be projected on something, including someone's back.

The LED lamp is pretty powerful considering the size; yet do not expect to get a light saber or to be able to build your own drive-in-theater with the Aiptek Pocket Cinema. Oh, about the drive-in, you actually could, if we're talking your car and your garage...but that would look a tad silly, wouldn't it? The gadget sports a rechargeable Li-Ion batter giving you around 60 minutes of video on a full charge. Now, if you feel like going completely mobile with your movie-watching habits, you could consider the Pocket Cinema from Aiptek: the price is around $520 and you can get it here. And Christmas is drawing near, remember?
