14 DAY TRIAL // Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's sister has been in court over a charge related to counterfeiting. Ailina Tsarnaeva was released after a hearing at South Boston District Court.
She is accused of driving a vehicle for someone who used fake bills in 2010. She is charged with misleading an investigator in the case.
The man she was driving used fake bills at an Applebee's in Dorchester. She was supposed to attend a hearing in 2011, but failed to do so.
Tsarnaeva was granted $1,500 (€1,100) bail after presenting her case to a judge. According to WCVB, she is pregnant and she is in financial trouble.
During the April 15 bombing at the Boston Marathon, Tsarnaeva, who used to reside in Cambridge, was living in West New York, New Jersey.
