If you ever found that tablets’ sounding capabilities were not satisfactory, you might want to take a look at this new product coming from China.

Obscure Chinese brand Aigo has just introduced the X85 tablet, a device taking advantage of Intel Z2580 dual-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, says Tablet-News (via PadNews).

The specifications of the device aren't mind-blowing, but one in particular might draw your attention. The slate has an 8-inch IPS display and takes advantage of 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Moreover, we should know the graphics chip inside the slate is an SGX 544MP2.

Customers adopting this $160 / €118 slate will also be getting 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, two cameras (5MP on the back and 2MP in front) and Wi-Fi. As a poignant drawback, the device runs Android 4.2 out of the box.

Nothing out of the ordinary until now, but the fact is the X85 has dual-stereo front speakers in the vein of the HTC BoomSound system, so in theory the slate should be able to deliver higher than average sound quality.

Anyway, I should note that for half the money you could be getting an Android 4.4 KitKat slate instead. Earlier today, I presented the newest Chuwi tablet that arrives with a Quad-core processor and offers GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and HDMI/OTG capabilities. It’s up to you to decide.
