The 1Password 2.5.1. password assistant for iPhone is free to registered users and it improves 1Password for iPhone, also adding support for AutoFill in Mobile Safari.
Using 1Password, Mac and iPhone users can easily manage hundreds of passwords with one master key. People usually keep one or at most two passwords for their login sessions, which, although seems like a good idea at first, doesn't help much when it comes to, let's say, phishing sites.
Imagine the risk you're exposing yourself to by inputting the same user name and password you've typed in on eBay, on a phishing site? Your credit card will be down to nothing in a jiffy. That's where 1Passoword comes in.
It is integrated with Safari, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, Firefox, Camino, and Flock, it beats the crap out of automatic other form-filler apps, it defines multiple identities to be used by the form filler, its stops keyloggers from recording your passwords and credit cards, and of course prevents anyone (who isn't authorized) from viewing your personal information.
Not only is 1Password secure, as the guided tour explicitly reveals, but it is also quite easy to use. All you need to do is click the 1P button on the taskbar and your login is automatically dealt with by 1Password.
And while its settings make you secure by default just as good on the iPhone, Mac integration allows passwords to be synced across machines. OS X Keychain integration provides maximum security, making it extremely easy to import from Safari, Firefox, Web Confidential, and RoboForm.
A single-user license for 1Password 2.5.1. for your iPhone costs $29.95. A family license is a tad more pricey, setting you back some $39.95, while the 30-day trial version (fully functional nevertheless) is also available.
