Agile Web Solutions has just confirmed that the iPhone version of its 1Password application is launching soon after Apple's WWDC '08 is over.

1Password already provides solutions for iPhone / iPod touch and Palm, meaning that you can take your data anywhere using the my1Password web service. This enables users to access their information from any "modern web browser," including Apple's Safari, which runs comfortably on the iPhone and iPod touch.

Agile Web Solutions will be attending Apple's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) this year, "hoping for hardware upgrades," but expecting "all the focus will be on the iPhone and the new Software Developer Toolkit," Dave Teare, Co-author of 1Password says. "We will be making good use of this new development platform and will have a 'native' iPhone version of 1Password that will be astounding!" claimed the developer.

The co-author of 1Passoword also expresses his deepest apologies for those who've tried contacting them using the Troubleshooting > Send Diagnostics feature in 1Password and didn't receive an answer. "If you tried contacting us using this feature and never heard back from us, please try again. I'm sorry for the trouble; putting customers first has always been our cornerstone and I feel bad for losing your emails," Dave's e-mail reads.

The co-author of 1Passoword admits he "inadvertently broke the code that handles these feedback requests" during a server upgrade in late May. "I look forward to making it up to anyone who has been kept waiting," Dave adds.

1Password costs $34.95 for a Single User license, or $49.95 for a Family license. 1Password is licensed on a per-person basis, meaning a single license can be used by one person on as many Macs as they can afford. This licensing policy drastically reduces 1Password's total cost of ownership, given that most people use multiple machines.

1Password calls for Mac OS X v10.4 or later. A 30-day trial version is also available.
