14 DAY TRIAL // People tend to think squirrels are adorable creatures that are way too busy being cute to get into fights. It turns out this is not always the case, and the picture above stands as proof.
The dramatic incident occurred in the Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada, and was caught on camera by 27-year-old Gilles Baechler, who was just visiting the region when these two ground squirrels decided to jump at each other's throats.
It is unclear whether the squirrel trying to choke the other after having pinned it against a rock has a criminal record, but I for one think it should definitely get one if it doesn't.
The bullied squirrel eventually managed to free itself, and made a run for it, probably to complain to its mom or plot a most horrific revenge.
Truth be told, it would appear that it wasn't really in any danger. Thus, Daily Mail says that, as far as Gilles Baechler and his girlfriend could tell, the two animals were just playing with one another.
