The development team at Rockstar seems to still be working on Agent, a video game project that was first announced in 2007 and was thought to be abandoned a few years ago.

The studio filed a new trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on July 18 using the Agent name. The description of the logo used by the company, which includes a handgun embedded in the letter G of the title, is consistent with older information about the game.

The first information that Rockstar offered on Agent suggested that the experience was set to take place during the Cold War and included espionage elements, assassinations and counter-intelligence missions.

At the moment, the company is putting the finishing touches on Grand Theft Auto V, which is set to arrive on September 17 on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
