‘Age of Defenders’ for Tablets Now Only $0.99 in the Android Market

The highly acclaimed “Age of Defender” cross-platform multiplayer game has just been updated in the Android Market and received a new price tag.

 

Especially designed for tablets, the games is now available for purchase in the Android Market for only $0.99 and is fully compatible with tablets that run Android 2.2 and up.

 

In addition, the game requires at least 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, as well as support for HD resolution (1280 x 800 pixels).

 

The game allows players to play against each other regardless of the mobile platform they use. For example, Android users can play against iPad, Windows, Mac or even Linux users.

 

Aside the cheaper price, the latest version of this innovative tower defense game brings new features, new content, as well as several bug fixes.

 

Developed by CUKETA, “Age of Defenders” lacks a single player campaign and skirmish mission and is solely focusing on the multiplayer aspects. This is probably the game’s main downside.  

 

Some of the gameplay changes added with the latest upgrade include:

 

- decreased basic income from 20 to 18;

- increased income from parez from 6 to 7;

- decreased build rate of suicide buggy by 20%;

- decreased build rate of other units by 10%.

 

Furthermore, the game has also been updated with new content, which is meant to offer a wider range of options for players:

 

- new Multiplayer map;

- new player profile, number of played matches with statistics;

- the ability to look at other player’s profiles.

 

It is also worth mentioning some of the new features introduced with version 0.1.10:

 

- displayed the number of players in lobby when hosting a game;

- chat moved, so you can chat when hosting a game;

- in-game GUI made more intuitive – swipe your units directly to portals.

 

Lots of bugs have also been fixed, but the most important seems to be the one that regarding the text next to upgrade in upgrade center.
