The Nokia N-Gage has become an increasingly popular platform lately with a large number of Nokia mobile phones receiving support for the software, and with a wide range of games becoming available for them. The platform does not work only on the Nseries devices, but on other handsets as well, and more to support it are expected to surface in the near future, while the list of games available seems to grow continuously too.

The latest addition to the N-Gage game series is the popular Age Of Empires III. The widely known historical strategy game has been released now for the N-Gage-compatible phones, and it is reported to come around with a great soundtrack, while also supporting an online multiplayer mode. Those who would like to download the game can find it available on the N-Gage site, in the Showroom tab.

“We are excited to have worked with Nokia to bring Age of Empires III to the N-Gage platform, adding yet another level of success to the current number one historical real-time strategy mobile game.” said Jill Braff, senior vice president, Global Publishing, Glu Mobile. “Age of Empires III on N-Gage keeps players on their toes in the battlefield, bringing their experience to a new intensity with features including a multiplayer game mode, new skirmish maps and enhanced graphics.”

Another interesting title that has been recently added to the N-Gage list is the DChoc Cafe Hold Em Poker, a game that gives every player two cards that have to be used in conjunction with five communal ones so as to make the best poker hand. The game has been already reviewed, it comes with nice graphics, and it seems to be perfectly suited for beginners and casual poker players.

Worms World Party has also been added to the series of N-Gage-compatible games, with support for up to four players at the same time, the first third-party title on N-Gage to include the feature. Other games recently added include Asphalt 3: Street Rules, Asphalt 4: Elite Racing, Blades & Magic (actually expected to be released in 2010), or Real Football 2009.
