After Burner Climax Unlockables and Achievements (Xbox 360)

After Burner Climax is a video game developed by Sega's AM2 division and published by the Japanese company itself for its arcade machines, at first, and then ported over to consoles like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, released as a downloadable title through the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, respectively, on April 21, 2010, all around the world.

The game is a flight simulator released in the extremely successful After Burner franchise released by Sega in Japanese arcades, and brings new aircrafts, like the F/A-18E Super Hornet or the F-15E Strike Eagle, while replacing the classic F-14 Tomcat with the upgraded F-14D Super Tomcat, which can all be selected from the start screen and customized with special paint schemes by the player.

Complete the indicated task in Arcade mode to unlock the corresponding Ex option. Note: These options only affect Arcade mode games.

- No Missile Recovery: Fire a total of 2,000 missiles.
- No Missile Smoke Displayed: Score over 600,000 points.
- Slow Climax Gauge Recovery: Activate Climax Mode 100 times.
- Take Half Damage: Get a down rate of 70% ten times.
- Unlimited Climax Gauge Recovery: Activate Climax Mode 200 times.
- Unlimited Game Credits: Get a Game Over ten times.
- Unlimited Missile Recovery: Fire a total of 5,000 missiles.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Complete the following achievements to unlock Xbox Live Gamerscore points. Note: Achievements can be unlocked with EX options used for easier game play.
- ROLL (15 points): Performed a roll in Arcade mode.
- Climax Mode (15 points): Activated Climax Mode in Arcade mode.
- 50 Combo (20 points): Got a combo of 50 in Arcade mode.
- Stealth bomber (10 points): Cleared Stage 5 in Arcade mode.
- Across enemy lines (10 points): Cleared Stage 10 in Arcade mode.
- Super Tomcat (20 points): Cleared Arcade mode with the F-14D.
- Super Hornet (20 points): Cleared Arcade mode with the F/A-18E.
- Strike Eagle (20 points): Cleared Arcade mode with the F-15E.
- Emergency Order (20 points): Cleared an Emergency Order in Arcade mode.
- Rank In (15 points): Uploaded a Score Attack score to rankings.
- Triple A (30 points): Got a AAA ranking in Arcade mode (for Shot Down, Combo, or Play Time).
- All Clear! (5 points): Cleared Arcade mode with ending A.
