New invention aims to make you feel safe

Are you plagued by dreams of being randomly attacked on the street? Well, who isn’t? The creators of the Aposematic Jacket are trying to provide us with a means to feel more secure while we go around our business in the city jungle.

The Jacket is not your normal piece of clothing. First off, it’s riddled with camera lenses front and back, which have a simple purpose. If attacked, the cameras will snap photos of the perpetrator from different angles, making it easier for the police to find the guilty individual. This is the theory.

By virtue of a single button push, all the cameras will start recording a 360-degree photograph, which will immediately be uploaded on the web.

Aposematism stands for the property of animals to have distinctive colors or markings that help keep predators at bay.

So creators of the jacket are betting on the jacket’s odd appearance to scare the wrong doers away. But what if the piece of clothing has the opposite effect? The Jacket certainly won’t come cheap, so its expensive allure will certainly attract greedy eyes.

On top of looking expensive, the Jacket also seems a bit freakish, so be careful not to get assaulted because you look like an eccentric that “doesn't belong here.”
